Appointments

Before booking an appointment with one of our clinicians, it may be worth looking at our self-referrals to check if a surgery appointment is needed for the service you require.

At Heathcote we believe in a personal list system, which helps establish and maintain a good relationship with your GP. This also helps to maintain continuity of care.

If your problem is urgent, or your doctor is unavailable, you will be offered an appointment with one of our associates.

How to Request an Appointment

You can request an appointment in the following ways:

We also offer bookable extended hours appointments on some Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 18:30 until 20:30.

Enhanced Access Appointments

The Banstead Primary Care Network are offering evening and Saturday appointments with local GPs. Please see the Enhanced Access Patient Leaflet for more details.

Online Appointments

We recommend downloading the NHS app which can be done through this website or via the link www.nhs.uk/apps-library/nhs-app.

This app will give you access to:

  • Book and cancel an appointments
  • Order and view your repeat prescriptions
  • View your laboratory results, allergies, immunisations and other NHS medical information

Telephone Consultations

Many problems can be dealt with more conveniently and quickly by a telephone consultation with a doctor, rather than having to attend the surgery.

If no appointments are available, you may have this option given to you.

The doctor can then speak with you and give advice or arrange an appointment.

Cancelling your Appointments

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
