Merry Christmas

In preparation for the Christmas period, we thought it would be helpful to provide you with information that you may find useful during this time.

Thank You

Thank you firstly to patients who have taken the time to give feedback of their experiences at Heathcote.  We have received some fantastic reviews highlighting the good work of all of the staff at the practice and thank you again for taking the time to give this.  Our thanks also to patients who have brought in Christmas gifts of chocolates and biscuits for the staff, these are greatly appreciated and much enjoyed!

Reception

Since re-opening our doors in September 2021, as much as possible, during the mornings, we have had two reception staff at the front desk to keep things running swiftly and smoothly and hope you have benefited from this if you have visited the surgery.

Covid Boosters

Covid boosters can be booked at our local GP vaccine centre in Epsom by selecting Nescot College (KT17 3DS) on the national Covid vaccine booking website or by calling 119.  Boosters are well under way and with the announcement from the Prime Minister last weekend that he would like all adults offered a booster by the end of December, we encourage anyone requiring their booster to book this as soon as possible.

Mental Wellbeing

Christmas for many of us is a joyful time spent celebrating with family and friends, watching our favourite Christmas films and exchanging gifts!  For some this can be a very stressful and lonely time and if you need support during the Christmas period (or anytime), there are many organisations to reach out to such as the Surrey Crisis Mental Health Helpline on 0800 915 4644 or by visiting their website. More information and details of other organisations that can offer support for adults and children can be found in the Wellbeing Centre.

That just leaves us to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
